Good Day fellow fishermen!

The New River water temperature is about 75 degrees this week. The water level is just below summer normal and is looking pretty clear.

Fishermen at on the New river at Hinton are catching quite a bit of smallmouth and catfish using live bait such as helgramite and crawfish.

The Lower New river fishermen are doing well catching fish using helgramites and crawifsh too. Large numbers of large catfish are being caught from Prince to Thurmnond.

Top water fishing is also coming life on the New river. Can’t wait to see you on the New.

Please Catch and Release!!
